ISFM 2026 Extends Phase-1 Startup Nomination Deadline to 15 October 2026
The Indian Startup Fundraising Meet (ISFM) 2026 has officially extended the deadline for Phase-1 Startup Nominations to 15 October 2026.
The nomination window was earlier scheduled to close on 30 September 2026. Following multiple requests received from startups and ecosystem partners, ISFM and its Governing Body have approved an extension of the nomination period until 15 October 2026.
The decision has been taken to provide additional time to startups that are currently preparing their applications and to enable ecosystem partners to nominate more relevant startups from their respective networks.
Official Announcement
Through Official Notification No. ISFM/2026/02 dated 30 September 2026, the Governing Body of the Indian Startup Fundraising Meet announced the extension of the Phase-1 nomination deadline.
Previous Nomination Deadline
30 September 2026
Revised Nomination Deadline
15 October 2026
The revised deadline is effective immediately.
Startups that have not yet completed their nominations can use the extended window to submit their applications for consideration under the ISFM 2026 screening and evaluation process.
Why Has the ISFM 2026 Nomination Deadline Been Extended?
The extension has primarily been approved in response to requests received from two important stakeholder groups within the startup ecosystem.
1. Requests from Startups
Several startups and founders requested additional time to complete their nomination submissions.
Startup applications often require founders to compile company information, funding requirements, business details and supporting information before making a formal submission.
The extended nomination window provides additional time for interested startups to complete their applications properly.
2. Requests from Ecosystem Partners
ISFM has also received requests from ecosystem partners seeking additional time to introduce and nominate startups from their respective networks.
The Indian Startup Fundraising Meet works with participants and stakeholders across the startup ecosystem, including:
- Startup founders
- Incubation centres
- Accelerators
- Angel investors
- Venture capital funds
- Alternative Investment Funds
- Family offices
- Corporate investors
- Private investors
- Mentors
- Startup ecosystem organisations
The extended nomination period is intended to facilitate broader participation from startups connected with these ecosystem networks.
What Is Phase-1 of ISFM 2026?
Phase-1 of the Indian Startup Fundraising Meet 2026 is the startup nomination, screening and evaluation stage.
Startups entering the process are required to first complete their nomination. Eligible applications may then proceed through the applicable verification and detailed evaluation process.
The purpose of Phase-1 is to gather relevant information about participating startups and assess their fundraising readiness, business profile and alignment with the broader ISFM process.
Submission of a nomination does not by itself guarantee selection, funding, investor meetings or investment.
All applications remain subject to the applicable ISFM screening and evaluation process.
Who Can Consider Applying?
The nomination process may be relevant for startups and founders looking to explore structured fundraising opportunities and ecosystem connections.
Depending on the startup profile and fundraising requirement, the broader ecosystem may include interaction opportunities with categories such as:
- Angel investors
- Venture capital funds
- Alternative Investment Funds
- Family offices
- Corporate investors
- Private investors
- Incubators
- Accelerators
- Mentors and ecosystem organisations
Final participation, evaluation and potential investor engagement remain subject to the applicable process and the independent discretion of the relevant stakeholders.
What Should Startups Do Now?
Startups that are interested in participating in ISFM 2026 should use the extended period to complete their Phase-1 nomination before the revised deadline.
Revised Final Date for Nomination
15 October 2026
Founders are advised not to wait until the final day to submit their applications.
Before submitting the nomination, startups should ensure that their company information, founder details, business model, current stage and fundraising requirement are clearly stated.
