INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY POLICY

Indian Startup Fundraising Meet (ISFM)

1. Ownership of ISFM Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights relating to the Indian Startup Fundraising Meet (“ISFM”), including its name, brand identity, logo, trademarks, trade dress, website, domain name, designs, graphics, layouts, documents, reports, evaluation formats, programme materials, presentations, written content, promotional materials, photographs, videos, databases and other proprietary content, are owned by or lawfully licensed to Aspire Seed Solutions Private Limited, unless otherwise expressly stated.

No right, title or interest in any ISFM intellectual property is transferred to any user, Applicant, participant, investor, partner or third party merely by accessing the website or participating in the Programme.

2. Restrictions on Use

No person may copy, reproduce, modify, republish, distribute, transmit, display, commercially exploit, license, sell or otherwise use any ISFM-owned intellectual property without prior written authorisation from Aspire Seed Solutions Private Limited.

Use of the ISFM name, logo, branding or promotional material for endorsement, partnership, sponsorship, fundraising or commercial representation without written approval is strictly prohibited.

3. Startup and Applicant Intellectual Property

Applicants and participating startups shall retain ownership of intellectual property lawfully owned by them, including trademarks, patents, copyrights, software, technology, designs, business materials, pitch decks and other proprietary assets submitted to ISFM.

Submission of such material to ISFM does not transfer ownership to ISFM.

By submitting materials for participation in the Programme, the Applicant grants ISFM a limited, non-exclusive and royalty-free right to access, reproduce, review, display and share such materials solely to the extent reasonably necessary for evaluation, screening, investor-connect, fundraising facilitation, Programme administration and related activities, subject to applicable privacy and confidentiality requirements.

4. Third-Party Intellectual Property

Any trademarks, logos, business names, photographs, content or other intellectual property belonging to investors, incubators, accelerators, partners, startups or other third parties shall remain the property of their respective owners.

The appearance of any third-party intellectual property on ISFM platforms shall not by itself constitute ownership, endorsement, sponsorship or formal association unless expressly stated.

5. Applicant Responsibility

Applicants shall ensure that all materials, logos, content, documents, photographs, videos, pitch decks and other information submitted to ISFM are owned by them or are used with appropriate permission.

ISFM shall not be responsible for any infringement arising from unauthorised material submitted by an Applicant or other participant.

Any person submitting content to ISFM shall remain responsible for claims arising from infringement of third-party intellectual property rights caused by such submission.

6. Confidential and Proprietary Information

Applicants should exercise appropriate judgment before disclosing highly confidential trade secrets, proprietary algorithms, source code, technical know-how or other commercially sensitive information.

Unless specifically agreed through a separate written confidentiality or non-disclosure agreement, participation in ISFM shall not automatically create a special confidentiality obligation beyond the obligations contained in the applicable Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions and other written arrangements.

7. Copyright Infringement and Complaints

Any person who believes that material displayed or used by ISFM infringes their intellectual property rights may submit a written complaint identifying the relevant material, the intellectual property claimed, evidence of ownership or authority and sufficient contact information for verification.

Upon receiving a valid complaint, ISFM may review the matter and take such action as it considers appropriate in accordance with applicable law.

8. Reservation of Rights

All rights not expressly granted under this Policy are reserved by Aspire Seed Solutions Private Limited and the respective owners of third-party intellectual property.

Unauthorised use of ISFM intellectual property may result in suspension of Programme participation, removal of content and such legal remedies as may be available under applicable law.
